BOARDER VILLAGE ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

Duration – 1994 to 2004

Under this project, the development of basic infrastructure in Sinhala settlements centered on Trincomalee, Velgamwehera Colony, Gomarankadawala, Welioya, Padaviya, Mahaoya, Vavuniya and Thanthirimalaya. Under that, provision of agricultural seeds, agricultural equipment, reconstruction of tank embankments, construction of houses, and preparation of drinking water schemes. Apart from that, the educational activities of school children were uplifted preschool was started and maintained, and dry food and clothes were provided.
