RESTORATION OF THANTHIRIMALE IRRIGATION TANK

Duration – March 2000

In Welioya, Padaviya, Sripura, Thanthirimale etc. areas, the dams of the tanks were cleaned and planting pits were built and farms were started and maintained by providing rice seeds and fertilizers to uplift the agricultural economy of the villagers in those areas.
